Weekend Getaway or Family Vacation--Higgins Lake KOA FUN! PARK captures it all! With all we have to offer, plus quiet peaceful evenings around a camp fire with family and friends, you need to make Higgins Lake KOA your camping destination!

Imagine the crystal clear waters and golden sandy beaches of Higgins Lake, voted National Geographic's sixth most beautiful lake in the world! This 10,000 acre lake offers excellent swimming with its shallow sandy shores, and distinctive drop-offs for a snorklers dream come true. Early morning anglers can enjoy fishing for perch, walleye, small mouth bass and much more. Boating enthusiasts can enjoy a day full of tubing, skiing or cruising the beautiful shore lines. But after a busy day by the lake, Higgins Lake KOA takes over. Don't feel like cooking, join us for dinner or breakfast. Complete your evening with an ice cream sundae and a movie in our outdoor amphitheatre. Kids can enjoy the inflatable water slide, playground equipment, new rock climbing wall, and monkey jumpers! Daily arts and crafts are available for the artistic child. Hiking trails throughout the heavily wooded campground can be a place to get close to nature. The Au Sable River offers lazy canoe rides and awesome fly fishing for every level of experience. Enjoy the beauty of Michigan's Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island, a deserving day trip for everyone. If shopping is something you enjoy, a day trip to Traverse City is a must! Feeling lucky, casinos can be found in St Ignace, and Traverse City.
